I started playing volleyball in the latter part of my sophomore year of high school. I played two club seasons and two high school seasons, and my natural gifts helped propel me to play Division 1 despite getting recruited during COVID.
My career started at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, NY. This was a cool for me. The level of play was high, and I was in one of the biggest cities in the world. But due to the state of the program and external issues, I entered the transfer portal to travel back home. St. Francis College shut down their athletics the following year.
I spend the next two at Thomas More University, where I'd compete NAIA my sophomore year, and Division II my junior year. These years saw more success, and brought me motivation to play at the highest level I can. My coach was removed following my junior year, and I was forced to enter the portal again.
I ended up playing at Purdue Fort Wayne, in the most competitive conference in the country, the MIVA. This year provided necessary training and exposure that I needed to advance, and it has propelled me to take my aspirations to the next level.
